Late Night Blogging - I love it!

Unconscious Mutterings, Week 285:

  1. Intimated :: the beginning of a scandal
  2. Brush :: …with death
  3. Masquerade :: Phantom of the Opera
  4. Procedure :: Fire, Earthquake, Bomb threat, etc.
  5. Tattoos :: Decide wisely. This is not something that should be done on a whim.
  6. Square :: Towne square
  7. Tuck :: Friar Tuck
  8. Boyfriend :: I think there should be a guy’s version of Avril’s song: "Girlfriend."
  9. Badass :: Something the Prince says (too often) when he sees something he likes on a movie–usually an action movie.
  10. Thousand :: The death of a thousand screams. From the Rex Harrison version of Dr. Doolittle. FYI: There’s also a death (penalty) of ten thousand screams.
Going to bed soon. I’m just having too much fun watching movies. I slept all day mostly because I don’t feel well and partly to avoid the heat. Ugh. At least I got to spend some time with my Prince.

Oh, got through my first full week of my new job! I am so nervous to start phase 2 on the 22nd, but I’m confident I can handle the technological part. It’s the customer service part. That’s never been my strong point.

"You don’t like our prices? Well, I’m sorry, sir, but I make the pricing, so either you can pay or LEAVE." Or… "I’m very sorry someone ELSE screwed you over, but that doesn’t make it ok for you to yell at ME. Trust me, buster, I can scream LOUDER and be a hell of a lot MEANER than you."

Eh, I just usually take the high road and only IMAGINE the low road. Believe, me, the bad guys in my stories get the crap kicked out of them. Everyone has their own outlet. Writing is mine.

I wrote Vengeance is Mine during a hard and angry time in my life. Even then, though, the moral of my story was that hate never satisfies–and, eventually, it kills. So, I don’t totally lose my head when I write. I write to set my head straight again.

Aw, the deliciousness of creating and maintaining my very own world. I love creativity and imagination, don’t you?

  1. Great mutterings. Mine’s posted, hope you can drop in for a visit!

    Happy weekend.

    I like your association with Badass…that would be my hubby’s reaction too, I’m sure. And Town Square.

    Hope you feel better soon.
