30 Days of Trial
1. Snow is cold but fun.
2. I’m looking forward to Yochanan’s return!
3. Princess Bride is the best romantic comedy ever!
4. One of my favorite old tv shows is I Love Lucy.
5. I’m done with stupid people (I wish).
6. The most enjoyable thing around the holidays is the food!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to checking out shows on our new 30-day trial with DirectTV, tomorrow my plans include work/shul/rest and Sunday, I want to take a bubble bath!
Imah just signed us up for a 30-day trial of DirectTV. Wow. I knew she was getting bored spending so much time in bed (from fatigue and various ailments). I didn’t think she was that bored, though. I guess she needed more to complain about. Decrying the evils of the three channels we did get wasn’t enough for her. She had to go and get more corrupting channels (behind my back naturally). I tell her: "Why don’t you just turn it off?" Oh, that’s right–she’s bored. Argh. Naturally, I am opposed to this. So, she’s attempting to bribe me by getting DirectTV on the TV upstairs (that’s never used because it doesn’t get any channels–the TV is older than I am). I don’t like the idea of paying for it when I could be saving the money for cooler stuff like high-tech gadgets. Sorry, John McClane, you’re not that important. I mean, it’s not like I can take the TV with me when I’m gone (which I am half+ the time) like I can with my cellphone/texter/game-player/internet Katana or my CD player (which I’d like to replace with a MP3 player).
I have too much reading to do, too many stories to write, too much music to listen and dance to. *sigh* It’s only 30 days…I hope. I’m going back to watch Die Hard upstairs now.
