1. What is your favorite flower? Depends: simple - daffodil; glam - stargazer lily

2. If you could have fresh flowers in every room of your house, what would you have and why? the stargazers; they’re gorgeous and they smell so pretty!

3. What is your favorite floral scent? …cherry blossom.

4. Describe your dream garden! Eh, Imah’s the gardener not me. I’m not willing to get dirty working on a garden that will attract critters (like bees and ladybugs) that I do not like.

Like I said before: wearing ice cream isn’t so bad…unless it’s 90 degrees and you’re craving sugar. Then, it’s torture. Other than that, work was great today. Here’s something that some friends of mine should appreciate: as some customers walked in, my manager (for today) said to me: "Here’s your next victims." LOL!

Overall, I’ve had a great weekend. On Saturday, I spend hours chatting to friends and taking/sharing online tests from Tickle (which I will post below). Meanwhile, here’s a meme from Unconscious Mutterings.

I’m enjoying this blog too much. You might notice that Today’s Expression is the panic button (until I change it to something else). Well, let me explain:

I’ve had a regular doozy of a week at work. We’ve been so busy this summer already! Whatever happened to a delightful little thing called summer school? Eh? Nevermind the customers who can’t seem to make up their minds–I had to go and bust up an order–literally (I mean, hey, I like ice cream, but I prefer eating it to wearing it).

Fortunately, this dark mood I’ve had yesterday and the day before lifted strangely today. I woke at 5:30am and thought with a groan: "Why? I don’t have to get up for another couple hours!" I have trouble getting back to sleep if I wake up even a few hours before I have to get up. My last thought before I drifted back to sleep minutes later was: "It’s light at 5:30 in the morning? That’s just wrong." Needless to say, I am not a morning person.

So, naturally, I was surprised when I awoke to my alarm feeling fresh and perky. I stared at my bed as if expecting the real me to be there moaning and growling at the audacity of that alarm. Then, I bounced out of bed and began my morning routine. Amazing.

The rest of my day was like that (with the exception of my pleasant nap during the lunch break)–even though I spend hours on end doing nothing but taking orders. Oy oy oy…

All this excitement, I forgot to mention about the new shampoo I got last week. It’s called Champagne Kiss. Haha! It’s perfect! (I felt so good this morning I just had to use that one over all the others I have–LOL!)

Yes, today was a good day.  (God only knows why! )

Oy, I’m losing my head…

Eh-heh, no, I’m not going there. Anyway, I just realized that I haven’t blogged about dance last night! Aaaaaaaaaagh!

So, C4 came to pick me up…I said hi to her at the door, I turned away for a moment, and when I faced her again–my "twin" was there! (Yes, she had a good laugh about successfully hiding herself from me behind her sister–I admit it, I am rather oblivious at times). Oh the joy in my heart! Her work schedule recently changed so now she can start coming with me to dance!!!

We had fun at dance. I don’t have words to worthy of the experience. We did a lot of fun ones that we haven’t done in quite a while. Koko Jumbo, for example…I discovered I’ve been doing it incorrectly and re-learned the right way. *applause*

Someone goaded me into playing with the scissors again–and then, the scissors were stolen from me. But I got them back. Hahaha!  I managed to splash Joseph again (though I almost got the controls wet too!)…Surely, I caused more trouble than that. Eh, I have been a little sleep deprived.

Sadly, my friend from Arizona didn’t get to come. She went back home today.  Goodbye! Hope you can visit again soon!

Another piece of sadness: There’s no dance next week. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

This is a test. I really don’t know what I’m doing… 

Ok! (an hour later…LOL!) I’ll get to Monday Madness when I’ve had a chance to think about my answers. For now, I’m just making a presumptuous fanfare for a blogroll I’ve joined: Blogger Chicks! [Fanfare in background].

Now, for Monday Madness:

1. How many cop shows can you name? Depends on the definition of "cop show". There is, of course, COPS; America’s Most Wanted, CSI, Cold Case, Without a Trace, Law & Order, and (my favorite) Numb3rs. That totals 7. (Yikes! Over a month ago I couldn’t have named more than three!)
2. Do you send text messages? No
3. If you could be on a gameshow (current or old), which one would you be on and why? Eh, my favorite is Jeopardy, and, though I do pretty well (in my opinion), I really don’t think I’d be good enough to be on the show.
4. What are some of your favorite websites? Besides Monday Madness? LOL! Oh, Br0k3n Pieces, UNfaded Labyrinth, Refdesk, Behind the Name (great for getting names for characters in a story!), Radio Blog Club, and various blogs.
5. What are your favorite things about the internet? …it’s fun. There’s so much to do, to read, to learn; it’s a great resource! It’s also a great way to keep in touch with people.
6. What about least favorite? Spam/junk mail, malicious software, inappropriate ads.
7. What are some good ways to deal with a pet loss? Oo, I really don’t know how I’ve dealt with it. After losing Ty the day after Memorial Day (of last year) I was heart-broken. But he’d been ailing for long (and I’d been living with the worry every day: "Will he make it through today?") that I guess when it finally happened, I was ready…sort of (I still bawled). Ty was special–my best friend (when I was in my reclusive stage) and my guardian angel (sometimes, it seemed more like I was his guardian angel! Oh dear…the frights he put me through. *chuckle*)

I could go on forever about Ty. With him and the others, I just moved on…usually to another pet. But not a single one could ever be replaced.

So, yeah…today is the first day in my life that I’ve worked on a Sunday. Ow–I mean, wow! Hey, thank God for coffee! (If only I’d had more…that last hour and a half could have been better ).
